2026 AFJROTC Awards

The Waterman – Twining Chapter has eleven high school AFJROTC units within our Chapter area: Durant, Bloomingdale, Middleton, Blake, H.B. Plant, Jefferson, Sickles, River Ridge, Springstead, St. Petersburg, and Hernando. 

The Chapter tries to have a Chapter member at each AFJROTC unit’s Awards Ceremony and present the AFA AFJROTC Cadet of the Year Award. Here are some photos of ceremonies we were able to attend.

Bloomingdale High School held their AFJROTC Awards ceremony on Monday, April 20. Bill Yucuis, the Chapter President, attended and presented the AFA AFJROTC Cadet of the Year Award.

On April 25, Teri Weide, the Chapter VP for Education, attended the AFJROTC Awards ceremony held at Hernando High School and presented the AFA AFJROTC Cadet of the Year Award.
