83rd Doolittle Raiders Memorial Toast
AFA’s Doolittle Leadership Center is thrilled to present the 83rd Doolittle Raiders Memorial Toast. Honoring a longtime Air Force tradition started by aviation pioneer and Air Force leader Jimmy Doolittle and his fellow Raiders in 1945, we invite you to join us on April 17th as we commemorate the enduring warfighting spirit, bravery, and innovation of this remarkable team whose successful raid on the Imperial Japanese mainland continue to inspire us.
We are joined once again by General Thomas A. Bussiere, Commander, Air Force Global Strike Command, as he speaks on the significance of remembering the Raiders’ accomplishments and the tremendous challenges the Raiders overcame.
We encourage units, chapters, and interested organizations to host their own gatherings and join us simultaneously via livestream (or after the fact using the recorded event) as we honor these terrific Airmen and celebrate an amazing American achievement. The livestream will go live on 17 April 2025 from 5:45 PM-6:30 PM EDT. Add the Toast to your calendar and bring your own glass to raise along with us!
