Fall 2025 Blue Star Families Events

Listed below are events planned by the Blue Star Families planned for November and December. Our Chapter supports their programs and if you are interested in volunteering, contact Bill Yucuis at fl316.waterman.president@afa.org.

November 9- Salute To Play- Glazer Children’s Museum 10 AM-1 PM( helping vendors unload, set up & pack up, serving families lunch, checking families in) Also looking for vendors/community resources and sponsors. 

November 19th- Harvest To Happiness Nourish The Service-  MacDill AFB Thanksgiving drive through Noon- 2 PM( packing bags, sorting, putting items in families’ vehicles, clean up)

December 16th– sorting toys, household items, packing bags( MacDill AFB) Time and location TBD

December 17th- Stars Stripes Holiday Wishes Nourish The Service MacDill AFB Christmas giveaway( sorting, setting up, packing bags, assisting families shop)
